Titusville Development

The Greek Streets Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative is organized around three over-arching concepts:

Housing Choice

The initiative is organized around providing housing stock that will meet the needs of a variety of income levels. This is done by providing assistance to existing residents who need grants or small loans for housing repair, identifying homes that need more expansive renovations, and providing new housing at a variety of price points. The new housing is concentrated in several contiguous areas; “Kappa Row”, “The Model Block”, a “Super Block”, and the “Courtyard”. Each area works as an element of the whole, while creating small pockets centered on shared public space.

Complete Streets

Working with new and existing housing stock, the initiative will work to repair the infrastructure of the neighborhood. This infrastructure will include streets, open space, pedestrian paths and parks as well as the utility network. While the physical infrastructure is important, the social infrastructure is a critical component of our redevelopment work.

Community Centered Development

Our revitalization efforts will allow all stakeholders to be fully engaged and the community informed. Therefore, our Titusville COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT/OPPORTUNITY CENTER will be “key” to implementing our Holistic Community Revitalization Program. Our Titusville Neighborhood Association is fully supportive of these initiatives.
