oneK: Anderson Residence

The clients for this project wanted to downsize and move into an existing neighborhood that was closer to family. Priorities in the design included a single-level house that was appropriate to the neighborhood, that was focused on efficiency and comfort, and that could accommodate as few as 2 people and as many as 20 without feeling too empty or too crowded. The final solution is inspired by the character and scale of the adjacent houses as well as the rural houses of the Alabama countryside.
